WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

This service empowers immigrant citizens by providing the resources and support they need to secure employment. We offer a range of services, including education, résumé writing, application assistance, translation, and other essential resources.


By improving access to education and job-related tools, this initiative bridges workforce gaps by connecting valuable immigrant talent with opportunities. It also plays a crucial role in revitalizing the Fargo-Moorhead area, driving economic growth and community development.

We have the following grants available for this: 

MN DEED Workforce Development

With MN DEED grant, we are able to offer different education training to meet the workforce demands in the Moorhead, MN area at no cost to the client. These programs are customized and offered in collaboration with MState. 

  • 11 participants completed Manufacturing and Forklift Training Bootcamp in November 2024.
  • We are currently working with individuals for Medication Administration Training session.
  • We are recruiting individuals for Entrepreneurial Training for our February 2025  session. 
  • We are currently working with individuals for CNA training for our next session starting on February 10, 2025 

Eligibility requirements:

  1. New Americans, Foreign-born individuals, Immigrants, and BIPOC populations
  2. Resident in Clay County/Moorhead, MN area
  3. Must be eligible to work in the US
  4. Must pass required academic assessments (TABE)
  5. Must demonstrate interest/commitment to starting a business
