Our Mission in Action

In 2025, the Immigrant Development Center continued our commitment to building pathways toward economic self-sufficiency for New Americans in the Fargo-Moorhead region and beyond.

A Year of Meaningful Impact

This year, we served 148 participants across five program areas, providing the skills, credentials, and support that New Americans need to build stable, prosperous lives in our community.

From a single mother who earned her CNA certification and is now building her own healthcare business, to a family from Maine who arrived with nothing but determination and left with employment credentials, driver's licenses, and hope for their future, every number in this report represents a real person working toward their American dream.

"The Immigrant Development Center doesn't just provide services; we provide pathways. Every driver's license issued, every credential earned, every business launched represents a family moving toward stability and self-sufficiency."

Our work is built on understanding that barriers to success are interconnected. A mother can't keep a job if she can't drive to work. A skilled worker can't advance if they don't have recognized credentials. An entrepreneur can't build wealth without business knowledge. That's why IDC takes a holistic approach, meeting people where they are and walking alongside them toward where they want to be.
